    Last year I created a portfolio for a photography exhibition and had the same problem. While searching for options, I found https://www.screencapture.com/crop-video-online/. It specializes in simple online video editing and makes cropping very easy for beginners. I could remove distracting areas around the frame and highlight the work I wanted people to see. Everything happened directly in the browser, and the process took only a few minutes. The finished videos looked much cleaner, and I was extremely happy with the results.
